FAQ

Underdogs Club is a mental health support group for individuals who follow Jesus. It is based off of peer support and group coaching. Each meeting, we commit to seeking prayer, adding tools to our mental health toolkit, and taking inventory of our weekly successes and downfalls. We hold space to voice frustration because we are not alone in this fight, and neither are you.

  • Anxiety & Depression

Our Anxiety & Depression Cohort focuses on using preventative tools in navigating experiences of Anxiety & Depression. We believe the biggest underlying theme of anxiety is rooted in lies, and we carefully cultivate a safe space for one another to identify these lies and replace them with truths. We together learn and practice these tools to combat depression, learn how to recognize the warning signs, and focus on building a robust toolkit that will aid in navigating Anxiety & Depression.

    Grief & Boundaries

Our Grief & Boundaries Cohort acknowledges that grief, in its many forms, diminishes our capacity. We equip you with tools to set healthy boundaries, addressing not only the loss of loved ones, but also the grief stemming from shattered dreams, fractured friendships, or the dissolution of community. Drawing inspiration from Jesus' life, we explore how He prioritized holistic well-being through setting boundaries in ministry and navigating his own grief.

    Recovering From Trauma & Relationships

Our Trauma cohort focuses on strategies to maintain a grounded, non-anxious presence after experiencing adverse situations. We know that trauma can look different and produce a variety of physical and emotional complexities from person to person. It can be a very personal and difficult thing to dive into, so we approach it together with great care, grace, compassion. This cohort will cover topics like grounding techniques, mindfulness practices, narrative therapy, & learning the power of agency.

  • Underdogs Club is open to the public and anyone is welcome to join. Feel free to just show up and our leadership team will walk you through signing in. You don’t need to start at the beginning of a cohort, you’re welcome to come halfway through a cohort.
